Challenge #7 -- SuperArtist Summer Sounds

Abstract art by London-based artist Hannah L. Farrell, inspired by sounds of human vocals and trumpets from Trinity College.
Calling All SuperArtists!!! This challenge is inspired by all those sweet sounds of summer -- birds chirping, thunder booming, cicadas buzzing, waves crashing -- just to name a few... Your SuperArtist challenge is to create an abstract artwork using your favorite summer sound(s) as your inspiration. Abstract art is a painting or sculpture containing lines, brushstrokes, shapes and color as the subject rather than a person/place/thing. This work may look like a scribble design so be sure to give it a good title. To Begin -- Do a quick brainstorm of the summer sounds that make you happy. Spend time listening to your sound with your eyes closed. Begin imagining what that sound would look like. Materials -- Pick the colors that "match" your chosen sound and draw what you think your sound looks like on paper, repeating and overlapping your abstract design, filling the entire paper.
