CHOOSE CREATIVITY CURRICULUM

The Choose Creativity curriculum is based on the 10 Principles of Creativity and implemented in schools, after-school programs, community centers and shelters in New York and other cities across the country. We train instructors to help their students develop a practical understanding of the principles by completing creative challenges demonstrating each principle.

For a full overview of the curriculum, please see below or visit www.ChooseCreativity.org.

What types of organizations is the curriculum for?

We are targeting schools, after-school programs, community centers, shelters, summer camps and libraries that are in need of creative programs for children and families.

Who can lead the curriculum?

The curriculum can be led by a teacher, program director, community center staff, or a motivated volunteer. The curriculum was designed so that anyone who is enthusiastic about bringing creativity to their community can easily follow and execute it. We'll help train instructors.

What will be provided by the Lulu & Leo Fund?

The Lulu & Leo Fund will supply the curriculum and professional development for instructors.

What will be expected of organizations using the SuperArtist Curriculum?

  • Instructor feedback is required.

  • All 10 principles/challenges of the curriculum must be completed, though the delivery of the content is adaptable.

  • Each session must have a reflection period at the end of each challenge.
